Events in Duncan City Square

Be sure to go on line every Saturday starting March 1st, 2008 and watch in the webcam to see Duncan's Market in the Square ready for business by 9:00 am! At noon, we usually do "the wave," or we hold up messages for friends all over the world.

What you can expect is the usual excellence that we have provided in past years. Singers, bands, choirs, dance troupes, jugglers, and magicians. We are fortunate to have a covered stage so that events will continue, rain or shine. Not that it rains during the day in the Cowichan Valley throughout our long, warm, perfect summers! No way!

And all this while you shop for fresh fruits and vegestables, home baking, eggs and dairy products, cheeses and fresh breads, jams, jellies and local honey. Hand made patio furniture, children's clothing and garden ornaments, jewellry, hand knitting, baby clothes and old fashioned fudge- just to name some of the things you can buy!

We think our market is the best in the valley, situated in the loveliest square in the prettiest town on Vancouver Island!
